Itineraries
A territory to be explored
If you are wondering about the origin of our name, know that Partaccia is the seaside resort along the Apuan coast, right between Marina di Carrara and Marina di Massa.
We are actually located in Marina di Massa, a lively and sparkling town where the streets are crowded with small stores and boutiques for shopping. In the evening, the town lights up and is overwhelmed by the music of the clubs.
Not only sea and beach, but also the history that has passed through this land. In Marina di Massa you can admire the architecture of the Malaspina Castle, the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Francis and the Ducal Palace.
Our town is the starting point for discovering the whole area. Excursions along the coast and inland with different itineraries fill the eyes with wonder.
Just a few kilometers separate us from Versilia, the VIP coast of Tuscany, or from the ancient seaside villages of the Cinque Terre where the jagged coastline and the scent of saltiness create a vivid spectacle overlooking the sea.

Marble Quarries
Entering the heart of a marble quarry is an experience not to be missed. The quarries open along the sides of the Apuan Alps, giving rise to evocative galleries unique in the world. Michelangelo himself often visited them to choose the appropriate marble for his masterpieces in person!
Apuan Alps
Nature itself offers varied and contrasting natural landscapes in this strip of land. The Apuane Park is an area of great floristic and faunal richness, where one can walk through forests and oak groves until suddenly finding oneself immersed in Mediterranean scrub.
Mount Corchia and the Wind Caves
Not only on the surface, but also underground you can find extraordinary landscapes such as the Antro del Corchia Cave, a complex of karst tunnels that is among the largest in Europe located in the marble heart of Mount Corchia, and the Wind Caves, which owe their name precisely to the force of the wind that emanates from the bowels of the mountain.
Malaspina Castle
Overlooking the area from above by enjoying the view of the coast from the Malaspina Castle, a true open-air museum looming above Massa, or from the Aghinolfi Fortress, which towers over the town of Montignoso with its early medieval imprint, once a strategic point for controlling the Via Francigena.
